Unique, Unusual, and Always Unpredictable

Don’t let the name fool you, Philadelphia’s own Blue Sinatra aren’t bluesy and they don’t play Frank Sinatra covers. What they do is bring their unique blend of 70’s funk, rock, golden era hip-hop, reggae and jazz improv to the stage in the form of a kinetic, ever changing live show that leaves the audience wondering, "What could be next?"

Thriving on their energetic -- sometimes surreal -- live performances, Blue Sinatra makes a conscious effort to bring something new to every show and leave plenty of room for spontaneous booty shakin’ break downs. Don’t be surprised if they get you to lay on the ground or "get low" with them because anything is possible.

Blue Sinatra has developed a unique sound some have labeled as, "new school funk," or "lo-fi soul". Their songs feature tight grooves, inventive arrangements and infectious melodies. They’ve been compared to acts such as Jamiroquai, Beck, the Brand New Heavies, Galactic, and most recently, Philly's G-Love meets Earth, Wind, & Fire.

Originally formed in 2002 by singer/emcee Greg James Harrigan a.k.a. "G-Kool" and drummer Mike Garth a.k.a. "Mike Steady," Blue Sinatra have reinvented themselves time and time again with the additions guitar player Dan Levin a.k.a. "Dal Tone," bass man, Fran "Cisco" McCloskey, and a brand new horn section with Kyle Cripps and Adam H. on sax and trumpet.
