Story: grew up in wilmington, DE. been playing trumpet for 12 years (although I played clarinet for 1 year....hated it and switched to trumpet). I first began listening to maynard ferguson and arturo sandoval and was highly inspired. The only jazz I played up until college was playing lead in my high school jazz band, but besides that I played mostly classical. Attended Temple University as a jazz performance major and studied under internationally known trumpeter/educator Terell Stafford. Graduated in May 2005 and now I'm playing in a wide variety of different groups and teaching private lessons.
